ABOUT
Funk Rabbit, Ink is a design & photography studio.
Hello! I’m Andrew Galbraith, owner of Funk Rabbit, Ink. I am a full-time artist, designer and photographer. I also work with companies in the branding industry to design and manufacture products, merchandise and media. The “, Ink” in the brand implies functioning like an agency, but in a loose, boutique format: I make introductions to epic printers and manufacturers and act as a technical liaison throughout the order process. Or more simply, I work with your vendors of choice. The end result is I create branding and materials, and also help follow it through until it’s produced.
I come from a background in mechanical engineering where I had a deep passion for sustainable design, which I’ve tried to translate to branding. Sustainable branding should be effective and affordable, while also influencing people and the environment in a positive way. Advertising and promoting can be wasteful and it’s my aim to help companies create conscious branding that uses less resources, saves time and makes a positive impact.
In addition to commercial design and photography, I create art and imagery centered around biodiversity and conservation. Over the past couple decades, I’ve been lucky enough to travel extensively and have lived in, researched and explored some of the most biodiverse ecosystems in the country. Experiencing that natural beauty and also seeing first-hand some of the worst environmental disasters in these places ultimately compelled me to create work that protects the environment.
My approach to all my work is artistic, technical and thorough. I tend to do best on projects that require both precision and creativity. Hiring me is like hiring an employee, without all the strings attached, so I’ve listed my services, skill set and experience below so you can get a better idea of what I’m good at and specialize in.
If you have a project you’re interested in, I’d love to hear about it. Please fill out my contact form and I’ll get back to you shortly!
